These are insulated sub floor panels called OVRX. This is the first time my builder has used this product and he was impressed with them. They are laid on top of the cold, hard basement floor which turns it into a soft, temperature stable platform. Then you add your flooring choice on top of these panels. I had researched these and I am happy that we chose to use them.


The stone has been started on the front of the house. We were originally going to use manufactured stone, but did not like the look that it gave. We decided to use natural limestone instead. The cost difference is significant, but the look of real stone is much better. This provides a perfect French country look to the front facade.


Our stone ledge is stunning when looking at it in person. We did a lot of research to come up with the perfect transition between the brick on top and the limestone on the bottom.
