Hungry Yet?

Today I experimented with some baby back ribs on the Weber. I did learn a few things as this was my first time cooking ribs on a gas grill. The grill needs a very hot pre-heat so that the smoker chips are smoldering before you put the ribs on. I was shooting for a temperature of 225F, and at that temp on a gas grill the chips will not start smoking. I had to take the ribs off the grill for a short period of time while I got the chips smoldering. I ended up smoking the ribs for 6 hours. They turned out extremely tender and moist. They were a little salty so I may have to adjust the BBQ rub or my sauce basting.

The chips soaking in water.

The rib prep.

Ah cooked to perfection.

Jenna really enjoyed some of my chicken while I was cooking the ribs.

I need your email address so I can send you your basement plan. Also, I suggest that you download the dwf viewer, its free. That way I can send you 3D models of the basement where you can orbit around and see it from any angle, it will give you a better visual.
