Basement Floor Is Complete.

Progress has been really good with the great weather we have had. The basement floor is complete and framing should start this week.

We Have Walls.

This is the wall waterproofing membrane. It is called "Platon" It is a hard plastic material which is far superior to the black paint that is usually sprayed onto a foundation for damp proofing.


After the walls were completed, the foundation plumbing was installed and is awaiting inspection in this picture before being covered up with rock and the concrete basement floor.

These were made with re-usable metal concrete forms instead of wood.

The Construction Begins

Well after all the planning we have finally started construction. Here are a few pictures of our land after being cleared for the lot placement.

This is the tree monster. It just ate complete trees trunk and all.


Here is a shot of the front yard and driveway area. The main structure of the house will be to the left.


This is our awesome backyard area. The septic tank will be installed in this area so it will remain a nice open play area after installation.
