Cleaning Day.

Jenna took it upon herself to clean the wood floors. I just need to teach her how to mow the grass, wash the 550 and do Daddy's laundry.

Hey Daddy I think you missed a spot. Also this is not shiny enough and I think it needs to be done again.


OK Dad this is used to sweep the floor and Mom says you need to learn to use it.


Ok Dad now pay attention and I will demonstrate how to properly use the sweeper.


Well at least we have a start on taking out the garbage.

Am I Cute Or What??!!

I snapped a couple of nice shots of Jenna taking her daily shot of fresh whole milk. She was more interested in smiling for the camera and chewing on her measuring cup than eating her food.

I Have To Agree With Jenna!

Here is Jenna modeling a very special shirt. I guess she knows how to make a statement.

You can almost see the halo above her head which is caused by wearing that shirt!


She is checking out her Halloween bag and thinking about the massive amount of candy that Dad is going to steal from her.

Trail Day

Today we took Jenna out to a new trail that we found. This turned out to be an extensive network of trails that connects some really neat areas around our county. We plan on visiting this area again when we have more time to explore and plan a day trip. Here are just a few pictures.

This first shot is an HDR photo. It is somewhat muted because many of the colors are very similar. The bridge reminds me of several I used to see growing up in the midwest.


I really like how this shot turned out. This was not part of the normal trail, but the light filtering through the trees caught my eye. This has a Jurasic Park feel to it.




Of course we have a cute baby shot. Notice the big girl water bottle just like Mom's

Special Pictures

These were taken by "Our 365 Portraits". They are associated with many of the hospitals in the area to take pictures of the new baby's and then sell you a package for the first year. They can be frustrating to work with because they always want to do everything at the last minute. Their scheduling practices can be a real challenge with a busy family. The photos are descent, however with the same setup I believe that I could produce better pictures by capturing Jenna at a time she is happy. These were taken just after a swim party and she was a little tired. It is noticeable in several of the photos.
